WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE SAT

  • To qualify for admission to a four-year college, students must take an SAT or ACT. It is recommended they take the test during the spring semester of 11th grade. We strongly encourage students to participate in a preparation workshop to prepare them to take the SAT.

  • Target Audience: Students in the Class of 2014 (juniors). Parents are welcome, but not required to attend.

  • Items to be Covered in the Intensive Test Prep Session on 5/18/13: Students will work on practice problems from the SAT as well as learn strategies for the SAT essay.

Pre-registration for this event has now closed. However, there should be sufficient space and materials. If you'd like to attend, just show up at UCSD Center Hall, Room 101.

Which will YOU choose?

Cal-SOAP is pleased to host the Cal-SOAP Summer College Programs.

  • This program is offered at NO COST to students in the graduating class of 2014, and who are serious about attending college after high school. Students accepted to take part in the Cal-SOAP Summer College Programs will be able to experience the college life at a California university.

  • You MUST apply to be selected for this program. Complete details are available in the attached application. The deadline to apply is May 10, 2013.

  • For rising seniors ONLY.
