University/College Night
The purpose of a university/college night is to explore choices that are available, to gather information on admission policies and to learn about financing a college education.
Representatives from more than 100 local, state and national universities will discuss high school course requirements, provide information and answer specific questions relating to their schools. Additionally, there will be special presentations by financial aid administrators who will show you how to find money that is available to assist you in paying the cost of a college education.
Students planning to begin their postsecondary education at a Community College and transfer to a four-year institution will be provided with the many advantages. Making College a Reality: Special Education and Higher Education and Writing a College Essay will also be addressed!
College representatives will be present to answer questions on:
- Admission requirements
- Campus environment
- Campus housing information
- Campus safety
- Campus support services (EOP, EOPS, tutoring, etc.)
- Career services and placement
- Costs
- Deadlines
